2012 Results
300m Night Fly results 15th December.
After a wet day the weather fined up for the evening. We had 18 competitors with the usual suspects taking out the top placings.
View the results HERE.
On Wednesday the competition year wound up with about 50 people attending our presentation evening. The junior championship again went to Roy Ewin from Maddi Zuliani. The President’s Cup, for the overall championship, also went to Roy with Mick Reed the runner up. Ryan Mitchell received the most improved trophy. A special mention to Hannah Seaman who won the gold medal in a recent world rimfire postal shoot.
Next year the championship will be split three ways. The junior champion will remain unchanged but the President’s Cup will be divided into benchrest, off hand and shotgun championships to give more people a chance to be competitive.
The next 300m night fly shoot is Saturday the 15th.
The range remains open as normal, 1 to 4 on Saturdays and 9 to 4 on Sundays, except for long weekends and the week between Christmas and new year.

Congratulations to Glenn Seaman, he has been selected in the Australian team to contest the International Rimfire Bench (IRB) world titles in Europe next year. Glenn is currently ranked third in Australia for IRB. To add the icing to the cake his daughter Emily has been selected to compete as a junior. With Roy Ewin selected to represent at the Pacific Regional Shooting Championships in New Zealand later this year that makes three from Wagga called to represent Australia – little wonder the club competition is so tough!
Meanwhile on the local scene in military rifle David Wade only dropped two points from a possible 300 to win the event with John Buik and Shane Robertson filling the minor places.
